The short version: Stash Route does not have user accounts, does not use cookies, and your ledger is saved only in your own browser's local storage. We never see it.
Stash Route does not require you to sign up, log in, or provide any personal information to use it. The savings or investment plan you build (your goal, dates, and deposit amounts) is stored using your browser's local storage, on your device only, and is never transmitted to our servers.
Loading the site fetches the page itself and, separately, a small public data feed of investment growth rates and country inflation averages so the tool can show current figures. That request does not include your plan, your goal amount, or any other personal data, just a request for the shared, non-personal rate figures. Like any web server, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard connection metadata (such as IP address) as part of serving the page; we do not use this to identify or track individual visitors.
Stash Route does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels.
Investment growth rates and inflation figures are pulled periodically from public financial and economic data providers, on our server, for the site as a whole. Your visit and your plan are never shared with those providers.
Stash Route is also published as an interactive artifact inside Anthropic's Claude. In that context only, if you are signed in to a Claude account, your plan may optionally sync to that account so it follows you across devices, governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy for that surface. The standalone site at stashroute.com described above does not have this feature: there, your plan stays local to your browser.
Stash Route is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, since it does not collect personal information at all.
